Job summary

The Minneapolis Foundation is seeking a Grants Administrator, Impact to support the Community Impact team. This role manages administrative tasks, data integrity, and customer service for applicants and grantees using our online portal and grantmaking systems.

Key responsibilities include processing manual grant requests, due diligence, payments, and reporting to advance equity in our community. Hybrid work with collaborative cross-departmental engagement is expected.

Qualifications

• Associates degree with 2-3 years admin/customer service experience.
• At least one year in grants administration preferred.
• Experience with relational databases and/or BI software (CRM).
• Experience managing grantmaking systems (Salesforce or similar).
• Experience in a Foundation or nonprofit setting.

Responsibilities

• Enter physical grant requests into grantmaking systems.
• Perform due diligence on documentation for grants per IRS and Minnesota regulations.
• Coordinate grant payments and prepare grant agreements and related letters.
• Regularly update applicant and grantee contact information; maintain data integrity.
• Prepare data for communications and reporting for grant opportunities and meetings.
