Job summary

The Minneapolis Foundation seeks a Grants Administrator to provide administrative and technical support for Impact team grant programs. You will assist applicants and grantees via our grants portal, ensuring timely, accurate data to help inform funding decisions and advance equity in the community.

You will work closely with the Director and Impact team to streamline applications and reporting, while delivering strong customer service and maintaining data integrity across systems.

Qualifications

• Associates degree and 2–3 years of administrative and customer service experience.
• One year of grants administration experience preferred.
• Experience with relational databases or BI software (CRM) helpful.
• Experience in a Foundation or nonprofit setting.
• Strong data management and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Enter physical grant requests in grantmaking systems.
• Perform due diligence on documentation per IRS and Minnesota regulations.
• Coordinate and execute grant payments with reporting and compliance.
• Monitor and upload documentation to grantmaking system.
• Maintain accurate applicant and grantee contact information.
