Job summary

University of Utah is seeking a Project Support Specialist to assist the project management function across disciplines such as Construction, Engineering, Operations and Technical. You will review proposals, coordinate contracts with internal and external partners, issue amendments, and provide scheduling, earned value, and budget analysis support.

This role reports to project managers and leadership and helps ensure on-time project delivery.

Qualifications

• Six years related experience or equivalency; education substitution allowed.
• Excellent human relations and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work with multiple project partners and teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to project management across disciplines (e.g., Construction, Engineering, Operations, Technical).
• Review project proposals, ensure contracts align with language and requirements.
• Coordinate agreements and contracts with internal and external partners.
• Issue and track project amendment documentation.
• Support scheduling, earned value management, budgeting, and change analysis.
• Communicate issues to project managers and stakeholders; recommend solutions.
• Monitor timelines and report progress to leadership.
