Job summary

Capitol Region Education Council (CREC) seeks a Grants and Foundation Manager to lead grants and development services, manage CREC Foundation fundraising, and build strategic donor partnerships across districts and programs.

The role requires grant writing expertise, fundraising acumen, and strong collaboration with CREC leadership to expand resources for education programs and community initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, nonprofit management, education, communications, or related field.
• Three to five years of grant development, fundraising, or nonprofit management experience.
• Experience researching funding opportunities and preparing successful grant proposals.
• Strong budgeting, donor relations, and partnership-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead CREC grants and development services and CREC Foundation fundraising.
• Identify funding opportunities aligned with CREC priorities and schools.
• Oversee grant proposals, budgets, reporting, and timelines.
• Develop partnerships with funders, donors, and community organizations.
• Supervise staff, manage budgets, and monitor compliance across grants.
