Job summary

The Iowa Workforce Development unit of the State of Iowa - Executive Branch seeks a dedicated Workforce Program Coordinator to support the Grants Team in administering state and federal pass-through grants and awards.

The role focuses on providing general support for sub-recipient expense reimbursement, reporting, and guidance for program managers and sub-recipients, while ensuring deadlines and compliance with applicable rules.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a four-year college with a degree; three years of related work experience.
• Seven years of full-time work in related analysis.
• Experience in employment interviewing, counseling, management, program planning.

Responsibilities

• Grant Administration - manage compliance for state and federal grant opportunities and review documentation.
• Assist in development of new grant opportunities and grant writing for federal funding.
• Coordinate with internal Grants Team and subrecipients; monitor and report outcomes across programs.
• Provide general guidance for sub-recipients, including expense reimbursement and reporting requirements.
