Artheon in Albany, NY is seeking a Community Development Specialist to support the Planning and Community Development Department. You will assist municipal clients in writing and administering grants from local, state, and federal sources and manage deadlines with strong client relationships.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in planning or a related field, at least three years of grant coordination experience, and excellent technical writing with strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in planning or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of grant coordination experience.
• Excellent technical writing and computer skills.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience with grants programs (CDBG, USDA, HOME, etc.) preferred.

Responsabilités

• Research outside grant opportunities and monitor funding sources.
• Technical writing and development of grant applications.
• Communicate identified grant opportunities and requirements to clients.
• Maintain grant tracking system and documentation for reimbursements.
• Coordinate with agencies/departments on grant applications.
• Prepare reimbursement documentation for grants.
