Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business/finance or related field.
• Knowledge of budgeting, grants administration, and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with UH/RCUH policies and funding mechanisms is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work with diverse teams.
• Experience with accounting, procurement, and fiscal compliance is desirable.
• Ability to learn UH systems for grants, procurement, and personnel processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for routine and complex tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assists with overall grants management including pre-award, account setup, budgeting, procurement, inventory, disbursement, reporting, and closeout.
• Supports departments and programs in managing funded projects and financial records.
• Provides staff support and advisory services to management and colleagues on fiscal processes.
• Develops or improves procedures and assists with routine analyses for the program.
• Prepares reports and communicates findings to management and stakeholders.
• Supervises and mentors junior fiscal staff or students as directed.
• Delivers fiscal compliance training to PIs, managers, and support staff as needed.
