The Office of Disaster Recovery is seeking a Financial Analyst to manage fiscal responsibilities for the Public Assistance and FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant Programs, along with other federally funded programs related to disaster recovery. This role involves overseeing grant financial activities, processing payments, preparing financial reports, and supporting audits.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance, with relevant experience in financial forecasting and governmental finance.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial forecasting and diagnosis, governmental finance, and information analysis.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Compile, analyze, and disseminate performance measures and supporting statistical data for grant programs.
• Review and process payments in accordance with eligibility requirements.
• Conduct reviews/analysis of grant obligations and expenditures.
• Maintain and reconcile worksheets for federally funded disaster recovery-related awards.
• Provide guidance to recipients on grant financial activity.
• Act as grant liaison and prepare internal program grant reports.
• Assist in developing policies and procedures for grant accounting.
