The role collaborates with program managers, VP, and CFO, oversees monthly closings, prepares variances, and supports audits; requires Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance and at least five years of nonprofit accounting with two years in supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administration or equivalent nonprofit accounting experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of related experience including two (2) years in a supervisory capacity.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate workflow of the Financial Analysts.
• Monitor expenses in each grant and ensure proper classifications.
• Oversee timely and accurate reporting to funders.
• Coordinate monitoring visits with funders and program managers.
• Support monthly financial closing and budget adjustments.
• Prepare and review journal entries and variance reports.
• Assist in annual audits and closing of funds.
