Job summary

HOPE Family Health seeks a Development & Grants Specialist to advance fundraising, organizational storytelling, and partnership building. You will coordinate the grant cycle, work with leadership, and help diversify funding for HOPE’s services and community impact.

Responsibilities include researching and writing grant proposals, managing timelines, and supporting donor stewardship and communications. This role emphasizes collaboration across departments and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public health, nonprofit management, business, marketing, journalism, healthcare administration, English, social services, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of three years in grant writing, nonprofit development, fundraising, communications, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and coordinate grant opportunities across Federal, state, local, and private foundations.
• Manage all phases of grant development: proposal writing, budgeting, submission, and reporting.
• Gather data and narratives from leadership and staff to support applications.
• Maintain grants calendar and ensure timely submissions.
• Support donor stewardship, sponsorships, and community partnerships.
• Develop organizational grant pipeline from identification to reporting.
• Support annual giving campaigns and community outreach.
