Job summary

North Idaho College is seeking a Development and Grants Specialist to identify funding opportunities, develop competitive proposals, and manage grants and philanthropic resources that support students and the college’s priorities.

You will research funding opportunities, coordinate submissions, and support post-award activities, including compliance, reporting, and documentation, while collaborating with staff and community partners.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree and a minimum of two years full-time related experience required.
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills for grant proposals and reports.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and collaborative processes.

Responsibilities

• Identify funding opportunities and develop competitive grant proposals.
• Coordinate submission and acceptance of external funding awards.
• Support post-award activities including compliance, reporting, documentation, and deadline tracking.
• Maintain grant and development records and update department materials.
