Job summary

Special Kids, Inc. is seeking a Foundation Specialist to identify, research, write, submit, and report on grants for our organization. This role works across the organization to determine funding needs and to analyze grant results for impact on families and children served.

The position is part-time, 20 hours per week (negotiable) with responsibilities spanning annual planning, fundraising strategy, and coordination of funder communications to support Special Kids programs and services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications or 2–3 years’ grant-related experience preferred.
• Experience in writing, editing and proofreading grants.

Responsibilities

• Identify and research potential corporate and foundation funders.
• Write, edit, and submit grant proposals and funder reports.
• Coordinate grant applications and reporting with organization-wide staff.
• Track funding results and report metrics for grant reporting and impact.
