Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in grants management, business administration, public administration, accounting, budgeting or related field.
• Two years of experience in grant writing, preparation, submission and program development.
• One year of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of Federal Assistance Regulations: OMB Circulars, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards.
• Proven track record securing grants from various sources.

Responsibilities

• Research grant programs and funding opportunities and coordinates plans with grant teams.
• Prepare, write, and submit competitive grant applications with budgets, narratives, and compliance reports, reflecting tribal priorities.
• Conduct inter-departmental, inter-tribal and inter-agency meetings to identify and prioritize project needs.
• Maintain awareness of funding opportunities from BIA, IHS, and other funding organizations.
• Provide timely advice on funding opportunities, requirements, and procedures; assist in budgeting and reporting.
• Maintain files of submitted proposals and track award/non-award outcomes.
