Job summary

State-of-South-Carolina is seeking a grants management professional to track and review subrecipient projects under FEMA Public Assistance programs. You will oversee project status for multiple subrecipients, assist with reimbursements, documentation, and interpretation of information in compliance with regulations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree; experience in business, grants, or public administration is preferred, and SC CMA credential is a plus or can be pursued within three years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; field not specified.
• Experience in business, grants, or public administration preferred.
• S.C. Certified Emergency Manager credential preferred or to acquire within three years.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel; navigate online systems and databases.

Responsibilities

• Track and review subrecipient projects under FEMA Public Assistance grants.
• Maintain oversight on project status for multiple subrecipients and assist with reimbursements and documentation.
• Interpret information in line with federal regulations, policies, and timelines.
• Prepare written summaries of findings and communicate irregularities to supervisor and subrecipients.
• Provide updates to leadership on progress and offer recommendations for actions.
• Exercise good judgment and decision‑making in daily tasks.
