Job summary

The International Rescue Committee is seeking a Grants Coordinator to manage pre- and post-award activities across NorCal, with emphasis on Sacramento and Turlock programs. You will lead proposal development, budgets, and donor reporting in collaboration with site directors, Finance, RAM, and HQ teams.

You will coordinate grant openings and closings, adjust budgets per donor requests, and ensure compliance with IRC standards.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or related work experience.
• Three+ years of proposal writing, log frame development, and budget management preferred.
• Excellent writing, research, and organizational skills; able to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Lead prospecting for new opportunities and prepare letters of inquiry, proposals, budgets, and reports.
• Lead concept note, proposal, and budget development coordinating with program and finance teams.
• Coordinate post-award grants management, agreements, and donor communications.
• Prepare interim and final reports to grantors and support in grant compliance activities.
