Job summary

International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a Development Director to lead regional resource mobilization, donor relations, and fundraising strategy for the Sacramento/Turlock region. You will work with HQ to implement a collaborative fundraising structure and oversee proposals, budgets, and stewardship of donors.

Qualifications

• BA/BS required; graduate degree preferred.
• Impeccable attention to detail and strong writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual fundraising plan with measurable goals.
• Oversee proposals, budgets, and reports to foundations.
• Lead donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
• Coordinate with HQ and regional teams on fundraising strategies.
• Organize events and manage donor engagement opportunities.
• Supervise development interns and volunteers.
