Job summary

The Pueblo of San Felipe is seeking a Grants Manager to oversee pre-award planning, post-award administration, and overall grant/contracts management. You will ensure compliance with applicable laws and coordinate with tribal departments to align proposals with organizational goals.

Responsibilities include tracking funding requests, maintaining databases, working with the Tribal Attorney and Finance staff, and preparing reports for the Governor and Tribal Council.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with accounting experience required.
• Knowledge of grant writing and implementation.
• Background check required; Keres speaker preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Tracks, logs, and maintains all funding requests related to grants/contracts.
• Researches external grant funding sources and tracks awards for compliance.
• Maintains databases to monitor, track and report on grants and renewals.
• Assists in design, formatting, and preparation of grant documentation.
• Prepares regular reports and presentations for Governor and Tribal Council.
• Develops processes for Grants & Contracts Management policies.
