The University of Texas Meadows Center for Preventing Educational Risk seeks a Grants & Contracts Specialist on the UT Main Campus to provide pre- and post-award research administration support. You will monitor budgets, coordinate amendments and progress reports with Principal Investigators, and arrange travel for staff and participants.

This exempt, full-time role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience in higher education research administration; CRA certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and monitor budgets for research projects; work with PIs on amendments and progress reports.
  • Arrange travel for staff, consultants, and participants, including hotel, flight, vehicle, and conference reservations.
  • Process payments, contracts and purchasing for staff, consultants, and participants of The Meadows Center.
  • Update and maintain administrative spreadsheets, Box, and paper files.
  • Work with research staff to prepare proposals for submission to prospective sponsoring agencies and organizations in accordance with university and sponsoring agency guidelines and deadlines.
