Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of bachelor's degree.
• 2 years experience in grants/contracts or related field.
• Familiar with FAR, Public Health Service Policies and OMB Circulars A-122 and A-133.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist Principal Investigators and staff in assessing funding opportunities and submitting proposals for funds to governmental, nonprofit, or educational entities.
• Manage electronic grant submissions via grants.gov, NSF Fastlane, and foundations' web applications.
• Prepare, review, and administer extramural awards; draft subagreements, CDA, MTA, and Data Use agreements.
• Serve as liaison between institute management, accounting, investigators, and external organizations on sponsored research.
• Assist in annual budget process providing data on funded programs.
• Provide ad hoc reports to management and department administration as requested.
