Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking a Grants and Contracts Officer to provide budgetary and administrative support for pre-award management of grant and contract proposals. You will assist PIs in identifying funding opportunities and submitting proposals to Federal, State, Local, and non-profit entities, while managing electronic submissions via grants.gov and NSF Fastlane.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience as determined by the company.
• Experience with grants.gov and NSF Fastlane.
• Knowledge of FAR, PHS Policies and OMB Circulars A-122/A-133.
• Experience with extramural awards, subagreements, CDA/MTA/Data Use.
• Able to meet deadlines and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist PIs/staff in identifying funding opportunities and submitting proposals to gov’t or nonprofit entities.
• Manage electronic grant submissions via grants.gov and NSF Fastlane.
• Prepare and plan budgets for research/sponsored proposals.
• Assist in preparation, review, negotiation, and administration of extramural awards and related legal documents.
• Serve as liaison between institute management, accounting, investigators, and external organizations.
• Contribute to annual budget process with program data.
• Provide ad hoc management reports as requested.
• Perform other duties as required.
