Job summary

Hively is seeking a Grants & Contracts Coordinator to manage the full lifecycle of grants and contracts, ensuring compliance and timely submissions across diverse funding streams. You will work with program, finance, and leadership to align proposals with organizational goals and funding requirements.

You will build relationships with funders, prepare accurate financial and narrative reports, and help implement grant management systems.

Qualifications

Minimum 3–5 years of grant management experience in a nonprofit setting.
Experience budgeting and financial reporting for grants and contracts.
Familiarity with government contracts and federal regulations (OMB Circulars, 2 CFR 200).
Strong proposal writing, compliance monitoring, and reporting skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication with funders and staff.

Responsibilities

Support the full lifecycle of grants and contracts from prep to reporting.
Develop budgets and narratives for competitive proposals with cross‑functional teams.
Monitor compliance, terms, and expenditure guidelines across multiple funders.
Foster positive funder relationships and timely funder communications.
Maintain grant records and implement tracking systems for cycles and allocations.
Collaborate with program, finance, and leadership to manage grant funds within budget.
Assist in audit preparation and respond to audit requests.
Provide training on grant management policies and procedures.
