Job summary

The incumbent at UC Davis Health independently conducts complex financial analysis and reconciliation of contracts and grants expenditures in excess of $5 million, ensuring adherence to sponsored award requirements, funding restrictions, and University policies.

Develop budgetary forecasts, prepare reports for Principal Investigators, CAO and Research Manager, and provide pre-award grant administration support within a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Financial analysis experience including cost allocation, forecasting, and strategic planning.
• Experience with extramural funds and detailed budget preparation.
• Extensive knowledge of federal guidelines (OMB Uniform Guidance).
• Strong organizational skills and independent judgment to manage priorities.
• Ability to plan, forecast deadlines, multitask, and coordinate assignments.
