Job summary

The Contract Manager at Rite of Passage will oversee the execution, tracking and reporting of ORR funded contracts within the Finance Department. You will maintain accurate contract and accounting records, prepare financial statements, and ensure expenditures align with ORR approved budgets.

The role requires advanced Excel skills, strong written communication, and the ability to coordinate with program staff, auditors, and government agencies to ensure compliance with GAAP, OMB circulars, and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
Advanced Excel experience required.
3-5 years’ experience in grants/contracts financial management; ORR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare financial statements with proper coding and allocation of expenditures.
Monitor budgets and notify management of over/under spending and budget amendments.
Review staffing, operating expenditures, revenue and budgeted figures for consistency.
Coordinate with key personnel to ensure timely expenditure of grant funds per guidelines.
Support audits and compile documents for federal, state, and internal audits.
