Job summary

The Grants and Contracts Coordinator exists to lead the development and administration of outgoing grants, contracts, and RFPs for the Child and Family Health Division in St. Paul.

Reporting to leadership, you will evaluate workflows to improve quality and efficiency, ensuring strong internal controls and timely delivery of documents. Telework up to 50% may be available for eligible Minnesota residents.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience administering and managing grants and contracts at the State of Minnesota and/or federal level.
• Experience with GAAP and Uniform Guidance compliance.
• Experience writing, developing, editing, and reviewing grants and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between General Counsel, OG&C, other divisions and grant development workgroups.
• Supports pre-award risk assessments of grant applications and budget reviews.
• Ensures appropriate grant/contract templates are utilized and documentation accompanies packets for tracker approval and encumbrance; uses DocuSign for signatures.
• Establishes relationships within MDH involving grants and contracts development.
• Participates in pilot studies testing new grant and contracting processes and systems.
