Job summary

MnDOT in St. Paul, MN is seeking a State Program 5310 Coordinator to lead statewide procedures for 5310 grants serving seniors and people with disabilities.

The role coordinates funding levels, service allocation needs, performance evaluation, and consolidates program activities to ensure efficient administration. The position may telework, hybrid, or be office-based; telework arrangements are made with a supervisor and policy-directed in-office work may apply.

Qualifications

• Three years of advanced professional program management experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Planning, Finance, or Public Administration may substitute for 6 months of experience.
• Experience administering and evaluating grant-funded programs.
• Experience with public-sector programs, government policies, regulations, and administrative processes.
• Experience with federal Transit Administration laws, regulations, and guidance or transportation voucher programs.
• Experience with governmental budgeting and legislative processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to 5310 transit stakeholders on federal and state program requirements.
• Oversee 5310 Vehicle Capital and Mobility Management programming for compliance with regs.
• Support planning staff in developing local transportation coordination plans and regional investment plans.
