Job summary

Workforce Initiative Association is seeking a detail-oriented Grants Coordinator in Canton, Ohio. This in-person role oversees procurement, contracting, and monitoring of subrecipient and contractor agreements, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.

You will manage contract lifecycle, invoicing, and reporting, partnering with program and finance teams. The role requires strong communication, time management, and confidentiality, with responsibilities spanning vendor

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or 3–5 years related experience.
• Experience in governmental accounting/auditing, procurement, contract management, subrecipient monitoring/compliance oversight, or grants administration, preferred.
• Experience with Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and teamwork; ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement and contracting processes, including proposal solicitation, evaluation, and contract execution.
• Monitor subrecipients for compliance; conduct on-site and desk audits as needed.
• Review invoices and budgets; ensure timely payment and financial reporting.
• Ensure procurement and contracting activities comply with laws and regulations; prepare required reports.
