Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and four years of experience; or high school diploma/equivalent and experience equal to eight years.
• Successful completion of the eSPEAR Certification, or ability to obtain the certification within 6 months of hire.
• A strong track record in research administration, grants and contracts management, financial reporting, and sponsored project compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor the administration of contract/grant activity for an assigned portfolio.
• Provide guidance on sponsored project HR, Purchasing and Travel transactions; oversee post-award contract/grant activities.
• Develop and prepare financial reports, track salary commitments, identify funding and compliance issues, coordinate close-outs.
• Advise and assist faculty, staff, and principal investigators in all areas of contracts/grant pre-award activities.
