Job summary

University of Missouri–St. Louis is seeking a Sponsored Programs Specialist to support the management of sponsored programs, contracts and grants. You will assist pre-award and post-award operations, applying university policies and sponsor requirements to ensure accurate processing and compliance, while collaborating with faculty, staff, sponsors and campus partners.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, customer service, and ability to identify process improvements. 40 hours per week in St.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with at least 3 years of related work experience.
• Experience supporting sponsored programs, grants, contracts, or similar activities is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provides administrative support for management of sponsored programs, grants, contracts, and cooperative agreements.
• Reviews documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with university and sponsor requirements.
• Maintains records and supporting documentation related to sponsored programs.
• Reviews and processes subaward invoices for accuracy and compliance with contractual requirements.
• Responds to inquiries from faculty, staff, sponsors, and other stakeholders regarding procedures and requirements.
