You will support grant and award management, coordinate expenditures, and prepare financial reporting across multiple programs to ensure sponsor compliance. Responsibilities include full lifecycle grant management, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring contracts meet university and sponsor requirements.

The Center for Behavioral Health at UMSL is seeking an enthusiasticand qualified Senior Grants Specialist. The Center is located inwest St. Louis County in Town & Country. The Senior GrantsSpecialist provides critical support to research faculty anddepartmental staff in grant and award management. Responsibilitiesinclude supporting, coordinating, and analyzing researchexpenditures through the University's human resources system,fiscal accounting system, and the contract terms and conditions tomeet the compliance standards of external sponsors. This positionis also responsible for various reporting, invoicing, accountsreceivable management, and closeout. May develop recommendationsfor financial resolutions regarding funding adequacy, allowabilityof expenses and other pertinent deliverables.
Business Hours Monday - Fridays with some evenings
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education andexperience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparableknowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
