Job summary

The role reports to Hawaii County Coordinators and requires a bachelor's in accounting and 5+ years of professional accounting experience, with experience in Great Plains and Excel, plus TB clearance and Hawaii driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required with 5+ years of professional accounting experience.
• Experience with government contracts and non-profits.
• Valid TB clearance, Hawaii driver’s license, and background checks.
• Experience with GAAP and government reporting.
• Proficiency with Great Plains and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Ensure financial statements conform to GAAP.
• Manage accounts receivable/payable, cash, and general ledger.
• Prepare government and other funding agency financial reports.
• Develop cost allocations and prepare workpapers.
• Prepare bi-weekly payroll.
• Provide monthly reports to DHQ and FIS Administration.
• Assist with budgets and budget amendments.
• Make financial decisions in absence of Program Directors.
