Job summary

Habitat for Humanity Greater Orlando & Osceola County is seeking a Government Grants and Compliance Manager to coordinate local, state, and federal funding opportunities and oversee grant compliance from application through closeout.

The role works across departments to communicate grant requirements, develop budgets, and ensure financial controls and documentation meet funder standards. Excellent writing, budgeting, and stakeholder skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public administration, nonprofit management, business administration, finance, affordable housing, communications, or related field.
• Minimum five years of progressively responsible experience in government grants, public funding, grant administration, compliance, or related field.
• Experience researching, writing, submitting, and securing local, jurisdictional, state, or federal government grants.
• Experience managing complex or regulated funding sources, grant agreements, reporting, and closeout.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate government grant proposals from application through award administration.
• Develop budgets, narratives, scopes of work, and compliance plans.
• Maintain grant records, documentation, and funder communications.
• Ensure compliance with grant terms, regulations, and reporting deadlines.
• Collaborate across departments to support grant tracking and reporting.
