Job summary

Nebraska Indian Community College (NICC) seeks a Grants Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of federal, state, tribal, and foundation grants. Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, the role ensures compliance with Uniform Guidance and grant fiscal accountability.

The Grants Manager serves as the College’s primary financial compliance steward for externally funded programs, ensuring accurate reporting, payroll allocation, audit readiness, internal controls, and cross‑department

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
  • Minimum three years of progressive grant administration experience.
  • Experience managing federal grants and financial reporting.
  • Experience with payroll allocations and financial reconciliation.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of federal, state, tribal, and foundation grants.
  • Ensure compliance with 2 CFR 200 and sponsor terms.
  • Prepare financial reports (SF-425, SF-270, drawdowns).
  • Coordinate grant invoicing, reimbursements, and audits.
  • Monitor budgets, cost share, and indirect cost recovery.
  • Maintain grant files and support audit readiness.
