City of Baltimore is seeking a Grants Compliance Manager for the MONSE team. The role leads grants compliance across all funding sources, oversees the full grants lifecycle, and partners with program and finance staff to ensure accurate reporting and audit readiness.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree with at least five years in grants management, preferably in government or nonprofit settings; strong knowledge of 2 CFR 200, budgets, and reporting is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in public administration, finance, accounting, business or related field; master’s preferred.
• At least five years of progressive experience in grants management, compliance, accounting, or related field; government or nonprofit grants preferred.

Aufgaben

• Develop and monitor policies, procedures, and systems to ensure grant compliance across federal, state, city, and private funding sources.
• Oversee the full life cycle of grants: application, setup, budget management, performance tracking, reporting, and closeout.
• Prepare reports for funders and regulatory agencies; coordinate with program and finance staff to ensure alignment with goals and funder requirements.
• Provide training and guidance on grants compliance to staff; act as liaison to funders and auditors.
• Conduct internal reviews and assist with external audits and site visits; maintain auditable grant records.
