Job summary

Esperanza Health Center is seeking an Associate Finance Director to oversee grants administration, GAAP-compliant financial reporting, and 401(k) plan administration. This role supervises staff and collaborates with the CFO on budgeting, audit readiness, and financial analysis.

The candidate will manage monthly closings, dashboard metrics, and Dispensary reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of records in a nonprofit setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 10–15 years accounting experience is required.
• 1–2 years 401(k) administration experience is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and numerical accuracy abilities.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee grants administration and financial reporting.
• Lead budgeting processes and annual budget preparation.
• Administer the 401(k) plan and analyze employee benefits.
• Coordinate payroll and participate in the Payroll Team.
• Manage revenue cycle and oversight of billing operations.
• Contribute to monthly closings and internal financial reporting.
