Job summary

Amity Foundation in Los Angeles, CA, invites applications for a Grant Compliance Advocate. You will monitor grant administration across a network of community-based organizations, ensuring compliance with fiscal and programmatic requirements.

You will review provider licensure, staff qualifications, data entry training, and reporting, while collaborating with the Grant Administrator and senior management to improve grant outcomes and service quality.

Qualifications

• Four year degree in Social Sciences or related fields, AND two years of administrative or programmatic experience in community-based settings.
• Experience delivering social services to vulnerable populations is preferred.
• Lived experience with incarceration, addiction recovery, poverty, foster care, or systems involvement is an asset.
• Experience collecting and entering data to demonstrate deliverables to funding sources is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and provide technical assistance to subcontracted Service Providers to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Liaise with network of subcontracted Service Providers and provide ongoing support.
• Conduct on-ground evaluation and support across Los Angeles County.
• Develop and issue grants or service contracts per project guidelines.
• Ensure access to training for data entry and grant reporting.
• Establish ongoing quality assurance monitoring and quarterly reviews.
• Conduct program reviews and implement corrective action plans.
• Participate in workgroups; inform management on compliance matters.
• Develop and revise policies for data collection and compliance programs.
• Respond to alleged rule violations and initiate investigations.
• Report progress to Grant Administrator and senior management regularly.
• Maintain positive relationships with subgrantee organizations.
• Support the Program Manager as needed.
• Additional duties as assigned.
