Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in planning, Public Administration or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in program administration and evaluation, grant writing and/or management.
  • NH motor vehicle operator’s license is required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Rochester’s CDBG program, including strategic plan preparation for HUD review, payments to subgrantees, progress reports, and performance reports.
  • Coordinate application process for CDBG and municipal funds; assess grant submissions for eligibility, risk, and ranking.
  • Prepare agreements and MOUs between subrecipients and the city and interdepartmental entities.
  • Provide technical assistance on the CDBG process from application to closeout.
  • Monitor all CDBG funded activities; ensure compliance with contracts, budgets, deadlines, and regulations.
