Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services in Denver, CO is seeking a detail-oriented Grants Closeout & Report Specialist for a temporary, part-time role supporting early childhood stimulus grant programs. You will organize documentation, track deliverables, review financial records, and help teams meet compliance deadlines in a hybrid work setting.

The position offers 15–20 hours per week, with in-person onboarding on the first day at a downtown Denver office and scheduled coordination with the hiring

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant administrative, grants, or project coordination experience.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, and general office software.
• Experience maintaining accurate records and preparing reports.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work both independently and with a team.
• Must pass a state-required background check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update grant program information using spreadsheets and internal systems.
• Organize project documentation, monitor milestones, and track deliverables.
• Review invoices and maintain financial documentation for compliance.
• Prepare project status updates and reports for internal stakeholders.
• Support compliance tracking related to federal fiscal requirements.
• Coordinate scope changes, assess risks, and support contingency planning.
