Job summary

Montana Community Foundation is seeking a Grants and Accounts Payable Administrator to support the Grants and Scholarships Program and Finance Department. The role handles grant processing, donor communications, and AP duties, ensuring compliance with IRS guidelines and Foundation policies.

The position emphasizes accurate data entry, database management, and collaboration across teams to ensure timely grants, payments, and scholarship distributions, contributing to MCF’s mission.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or four years of related nonprofit experience.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficient computer skills and experience with databases.

Responsibilities

  • Provide grants administration support: grant processing, data entry, due diligence, award letters, and reporting.
  • Process accounts payable daily and ensure proper approvals and W-9 verifications.
  • Assist with annual endowment distributions and scholarship program data management in RE/FE systems.
  • Support donor relations and grant management in collaboration with program staff.
  • Handle vendor data, payments, and correspondence related to grants and scholarship operations.
