Wake County Government is seeking a Grants Accounting Officer in Raleigh, NC to manage the grants lifecycle with fiscal oversight and policy support. The role collaborates with the Grants Team to drive compliance, budgeting, reporting and audits across departments.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance and at least three years of grants accounting or grant management experience, with strong analytical and technical skills to support county-wide grant initiatives.

The Grants Accounting Officer provides fiscal management and oversight of grants lifecycle for all grant-funded projects in accordance with NC General Statutes, County policies and grant agreements.
This position, in collaboration with the County’s Grants Team, supports the full lifecycle of grant administration, including development and updates of grant-related policies and procedures, employee training and technical assistance and audit assistance to County departments and programs as needed.
