Job summary

AltaPointe Health Systems in Mobile, Alabama seeks an experienced accounting professional to oversee grant accounting functions and pharmacy accounting operations. You will manage monthly grant draw packages, reconcile ledgers, and prepare SF-425 and SF-428 reports, ensuring compliance with funders and APHS policies.

You will act as AmpliFund SME, build budgets, coordinate audits, and lead month-end close activities while mentoring staff and fostering continuous improvement within the finance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum five years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency with Windows applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and review monthly grant draw packages for allowability and compliance with policies.
• Submit grant draw packages to funding agencies.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of grant cost centers with subledger and GL.
• Research, investigate, and resolve discrepancies between subledger and general ledger.
• Reconcile grant accounts receivable and resolve missing or delayed payments.
• Prepare SF-425 Federal Financial Reports.
• Prepare SF-428 Tangible Personal Property Reports at grant closeout.
• Act as AmpliFund subject matter expert and stay current on system functionality.
• Build and amend grant budgets in AmpliFund.
• Lead month-end close activities related to grants and pharmacy accounting.
