The Grant Accountant is responsible for maintaining financial, accounting, and grant support services in order to meet the needs of the organization and the donor. This position needs to understand the grants budget and spending plans, as well as how to draw money from various federal, state, and local governments. This position will work closely with the other members of the Finance Team and Program Managers to ensure grant performance complies with governing agencies' terms of budgeting, reporting, and variance analysis functions.

Additionally, the Grant Accountant is responsible for preparing audit work papers, account analyses, and troubleshooting accounting software problems. This position requires a high degree of analytical ability with only general and limited supervision.

HOURS/SCHEDULE

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
