Sunlight Giving in Palo Alto is seeking a Program Officer to manage day-to-day relationships with applicants and grantees, perform due diligence, and contribute to grantmaking planning, budgeting, and strategy. Regular travel in Monterey, San Benito, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Santa Cruz counties, with infrequent travel across Sunlight Giving’s 10-county range.

The role collaborates with nonprofits, staff, board members and external partners while monitoring local, regional, and national trends

• Due diligence on organizations and grantmaking planning, budgeting and strategy
• Collaboration with nonprofits, staff, board members and external partners; monitoring trends in children and families, poverty and safety net services
