Brooklyn Community Foundation is seeking a Program Officer to manage staff-driven grantmaking portfolios, support community-led programs, and maintain grant information integrity in Brooklyn, NY. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5-10 years of experience in philanthropy, nonprofit or public policy, grantmaking experience preferred
• Commitment to racial and social justice, with youth leadership a plus
• Experience with Brooklyn-focused community organizing and advocacy is highly valued
• Exceptional interpersonal communication and inclusive cross-cultural leadership

Responsibilities

• Manage staff-driven grantmaking portfolios and support community-driven programs
• Maintain integrity of grant information and analyze issues for committees
• Conduct field scan research, host roundtables, and inform strategy
• Identify strategic opportunities in racial and economic justice within Brooklyn
• Collaborate with colleagues to share learnings and support communications/advocacy
• Support project consultants and initiatives and organize workshops
