Job summary

ClimateWorks Foundation is seeking a proactive Program Associate to support the Cement & Building Materials Hub, guiding grantmaking, coordination, and reporting. You will manage grants, liaise with grantees, and help organize global convenings under the Cement & Building Materials portfolio.

This role emphasizes strong project management, communication, and systems thinking, with international travel, and collaboration with multiple teams to advance decarbonization in heavy industry.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of project coordination or related experience.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Google Suite, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Signal.
  • Experience managing grants or working with nonprofits.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work across time zones.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (~three trips/year).
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Commitment to climate change and equity.

Responsibilities

  • Lead grantmaking operations from assessment to evaluation.
  • Manage grantee relationships and reporting.
  • Monitor grant portfolio budget and annual planning.
  • Develop policies and improve grant processes.
  • Coordinate internal collaboration on grantmaking.
