Job summary

VMG Health is seeking a Grant Writer to join our team in the United States. The role focuses on researching funding opportunities, developing compelling proposals, and ensuring compliance with funder guidelines.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of grant writing experience, excellent writing skills, and the ability to manage multiple proposals and deadlines in a consulting or nonprofit environment. This is a full-time, on-site position with opportunities to collaborate across client teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–3 years of grant writing experience.
• Experience in a consulting or nonprofit setting is preferred.
• Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to craft clear, concise, and persuasive grant proposals.
• Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to gather and synthesize information from multiple sources.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and grant management software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough research to identify potential funding opportunities from government agencies, foundations, corporations, and other sources.
• Analyze grant guidelines and requirements to determine alignment with client needs and objectives.
• Collaborate with clients and internal team members to develop compelling grant proposals, including drafting narrative sections, preparing budgets, and gathering supporting documentation.
• Ensure proposals are well-written, persuasive, and compliant with funder guidelines.
• Serve as a point of contact for clients, understanding their funding needs and objectives, and providing strategic guidance throughout the grant writing process.
• Manage grant proposal timelines and deadlines, ensuring proposals are submitted on time and in accordance with funder guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of grant activities, including proposal submissions, funding decisions, and reporting requirements.
