Redwood Family Care Network is seeking a Grant Writing Specialist in California to drive funding through compelling proposals and thorough grant management. You will collaborate with the Sr. Director of Contracts and Revenue and support program development initiatives.

The role emphasizes grant lifecycle expertise, budget preparation, and timely reporting, with a strong preference for 100% in-person work at the corporate office; remote work may be considered based on location.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of grant writing or fundraising experience.
• Experience preparing budgets and financial reports for grant applications.
• Knowledge of IDD and Medicaid Waiver funding preferred.
• Excellent writing and editing skills.

Responsibilities

• Research funding opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and corporate donors. Maintain a grant calendar and track submission deadlines.
• Develop, write, edit, and submit high-quality grant proposals and supporting documents. Ensure all submissions meet funder requirements and compliance standards.
• Prepare detailed grant budgets and financial reports in collaboration with finance and program teams. Ensure accuracy and alignment with grant guidelines.
• Manage grant applications from inception through submission and post-award reporting. Maintain organized documentation and ensure timely submission of required reports.
• Work closely with program staff to gather data, outcomes, and impact information for proposals and reports. Support strategic planning related to fundraising goals and program expansion.
• Maintain ongoing communication with funders, ensuring timely reporting, compliance, and relationship stewardship.
