I Be Black Girl Omaha is seeking a Grant Writer to advance our fund development strategy and safeguard our mission’s sustainability. This role suits a storyteller who communicates well in writing, is a self‑starter, and enjoys building processes.

You will write and submit grant proposals, monitor deadlines, and coordinate compliance and reporting with leadership while keeping clear documentation accessible. This is a full‑time, hybrid role in Nebraska.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, nonprofit management, business, or similar or equivalent 2–4 years on the job experience.

Responsibilities

• Write and submit compelling grant proposals and letters of inquiry.
• Track deadlines and maintain an organized grant calendar.
• Manage grant compliance and reporting in partnership with leadership.
• Keep documentation clear, accurate, and accessible.
