Job summary

Easter Seals South Florida is seeking a Development Full Time Professional Grants Writer in Miami, FL. You will research grant opportunities, craft compelling proposals, LOIs, and supporting documents to secure funding for our programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of grant writing experience, with demonstrated success in securing funding.
• Must meet Easterseals Florida Approved Driver Requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong written and verbal communication, and ability to convey information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Research grant opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and other funding sources.
• Prepare, write, and submit grant proposals, LOIs, and supporting documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of grant opportunities, applications, submissions, and deadlines.
• Collaborate with senior management and program staff to develop measurable outcomes and impact statements.
• Assist in preparing grant reports including program outcomes and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain relationships with funding organizations and stakeholders.
• Respond to inquiries regarding grant proposals and submissions.
