Job summary

West Virginia University is seeking a Technical/Grant Writer to support water infrastructure grant opportunities through the WV Grant Resource Center. You will assist eligible entities with the pre-award process, prepare templates, letters of intent, and guidelines summaries, and help foster collaborations with the WV Water Development Authority.

The role includes delivering trainings, managing proposal packages, and maintaining project records, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience with the pre-award process, grant proposal development and submission, and project management.
• Strong written and oral communication and research skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to eligible applicants and identify funding opportunities.
• Develop proposal materials: narrative templates, letters of support, guidelines summaries.
• Facilitate meetings, seminars, and workshops on grant writing.
• Manage preparation of grant proposal packages and support entities through submission.
