Job summary

Murmuration is seeking a Development Specialist to grow our contributed-revenue pipeline. You will lead grant writing, reporting, and donor communications, while partnering with Growth and Communications teams to tell impact stories and steward funders.

You’ll help map our funder network, draft proposals, and track submissions, reports, and outcomes to support sustainable, diverse funding. Remote-friendly, US-wide.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in development, fundraising, or investor relations; 4–5 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft and edit grant proposals, LOIs, and donor materials.
• Prepare grant reports and donor communications for current funders.
• Research prospects, prep meeting briefs, and coordinate follow-ups.
• Develop and manage annual and multi-year fundraising plans.
• Improve development processes, pipeline tracking, and reporting.
• Collaborate on donor-facing materials with Communications/Marketing.
• Assist with events and projects as needed.
